AATCVM Discussion Forum Guidelines

From the AATCVM Communications Committee

Objective: A Discussion Forum for TCVM practitioners to receive assistance with cases from experienced clinicians in the field and share their case experiences and results with others in a professional manner.

Etiquette:

  1. All participants are reminded that none of their comments are confidential and will be viewed by the entire group.
  2. As in their daily lives as veterinarians, participants are expected to speak in a professional, respectful way to each other and never degrade other veterinarians or their way of doing things.
  3. The aim of all discussions is to have a balanced Qi flow with no stagnation, so no aggressive, angry or disrespectful discourse will be tolerated by the moderators.
  4. When divergent points of view are expressed, participants are expected to simply agree to disagree and let it go at that.
  5. Multiple lengthy posts on the same subject trying to convince everyone of one’s personal opinion is disruptive to balanced Qi flow and negatively impacts the whole group and will not be tolerated.
  6. The aim is to have this chat room be a safe place for individuals to ask their questions and express their opinion, free from fear of attack or embarrassment by some opinionated individual with Liver Qi stagnation.
  7. We wish to grow together as a group in a positive way and unfortunately if an individual is unable to behave in a manner which promotes and maintains harmony in the group, they will be asked to leave for the good of the rest.
  8. This Discussion Forum is intended solely for discussion of matters directly related to TCVM and not other forms of alternative medicine. We would appreciate it if members stay on-topic, so that the Discussion Forum can remain a professional learning resource where members can easily access TCVM information.
